Graduation Week
This is High School Graduation Week in our area in addition to the end of the regular school year! For students and teachers both… YAY! For parents and caregivers, this may be the beginning of a long couple of months!
To our graduates, we congratulate you today for your accomplishments! This event will end one part of your life journey, and yet is the beginning of another. You are not through learning! If you are, then your life may not turn out as well as you’d like! There is always another lesson to learn, another skill to master, and another life experience to work your way through. So get used to it!
To family members who have sweat, supported, bled, cried, driven, pleaded, and persuaded each of you students to achieve, our congrats as well. Very few people can really make it alone or on their own in life. Most of us need ongoing encouragement from those we trust and respect to succeed.
Sometimes that support will come from very unexpected places! God will often use strangers or those that you don’t know very well to bless you in beautiful ways. He will also use you to do the same to others, especially if you’re willing!
So as this final week of school gets underway, try being a blessing to the teachers and staff that have invested and cared for you this past year! Tell them “Thanks” for their investment in your life. They’ll be surprised and pleased, and you’ll gain from the experience too!
